I do have an option for you but the GM TPMS uses a proprietary software, you cannot use another sensor with the program even if they operate on the same frequency per TST. I do know of many others who have run into issues with GM not offering a solution for the larger 16"+ wheels. I spoke with my contact at Tuson regarding their TPMS systems like the 6 Sensor Kit # 335TPMS6WIVS that you were looking at and he said that the tire does need to be rotating for the sensor to be able to gauge pressure and temperature. You can certainly still mount the sensor to the spare and program it to the monitor but it's not going to be able to read any data until the spare is actually mounted and being used.
