  • Can You Add Additional Sensors To The TST TPMS 6 Internal Tire Sensors Kit TST-507-INT-6-C?
  • I have a solution for you, however, the TST TPMS - Color Display - Signal Booster - 6 Internal Tire Sensors # TST-507-INT-6-C is not offered as a kit with 8 sensors. Luckily, you can add sensors using this: Internal Tire Sensor # TST-507-INT-S1. I confirmed with TST that this will work great with the 6 sensor system # TST-507-INT-6-C, which will actually work with up to 110 sensors. This TPMS system updates every 12 seconds to relay the tire pressure and temperature information to the...

  • Is There a TST TPMS for RVs That Comes with 4 Flow Through and 2 End Cap Style Sensors
  • The TST TPMS for RVs can come with either flow-through or end cap style sensors but not both. Therefore, if you would like to obtain four flow-through and two end cap style sensors you'd need the TST TPMS for RVs part # TST-507-FT-4-C and Tire Sensors for TST TPMS part # TST-507-RV-S2 but that's all. You can mix and match the sensor types without issue so there will be no problem at all with this setup.

  • TPMS System With Internal Sensors For 2023 Winnebago View
  • I think you'll be better off using all internal tire sensors instead of mixing and matching on your 2023 Winnebago View. TST manufactures the highest quality sensors, so that's who I recommend going with, and for six sensors use the TST TPMS - Color Display - Signal Booster - 6 Internal Tire Sensors # TST-507-INT-6-C.

  • Will the Band Style TST TPMS Sensors Work with Factory GM TPMS for Trailers
  • I do have an option for you but the GM TPMS uses a proprietary software, you cannot use another sensor with the program even if they operate on the same frequency per TST. I do know of many others who have run into issues with GM not offering a solution for the larger 16"+ wheels. Therefore, your best option for these larger tires is a standalone system for which I recommend the TST TPMS part # TST34FR which comes with a color dash monitor and four sensors.

  • Can Valterra TireMinder TPMS Kit for Dual Axle Trailer be Used on Single Axle Trailer
  • Tireminder makes a TPMS setup for single axle trailers like yours with the part # TPMS-TRL-2 which comes with just two sensors like you'd only need, or if you preferred the kit that comes with 4 sensors that would work as well part # TPMS-TRAILER. You'd just not use the two extra sensors. They could be kept as spare parts for future use.

  • Can Tuson TPMS RV System be Used on Spare Tire
  • I spoke with my contact at Tuson regarding their TPMS systems like the 6 Sensor Kit # 335TPMS6WIVS that you were looking at and he said that the tire does need to be rotating for the sensor to be able to gauge pressure and temperature. You can certainly still mount the sensor to the spare and program it to the monitor but it's not going to be able to read any data until the spare is actually mounted and being used. For a similar system that CAN be used to read the pressure of a spare...

  • Can I Use Tire Valve Extentions with TPMS Sensors
  • Adding a TPMS sensor to a Wheel Masters Tire Pressure Valve Extenders part # WM8029135 with the 135 degree bend will be fine if using them with a metal valve stem on the rim which most have. The reasoning is that if you add weight that far away from the attachment point it can cause issues with flexing the rubber and causing failure.

  • Recommended TPMS for Multiple Trailers
  • The TireMinder i10 TPMS for RVs and Trailers part # TM29FR would be an excellent option for multiple trailers. It comes with six sensors total so you would be able to monitor one tandem axle trailer and one single axle trailer as is. That said, you can always add more sensors using the TPMS Sensor part # TM-2Brass. The range extended I'd recommend installing on the travel trailer. It is not required so you can use the sensors without the extender on the equipment trailer.

  • Can WheelMaster Valve Extender Be Left On and Installed with TPMS
  • Yes the Wheelmaster valve extenders like the # WM80294 can be left on when driving. They are designed to be a permanent so they would be perfectly fine to be left on. If you were going to use them with a TPMS sensor you'd want to use a sensor that is "flow through" like the # TST-507-FT-4-C and would install it between the extender and the valve stem.
